WorldVest characterizes a merchant bank as an organization that offers not only traditional investment banking, asset management, and advisory services, but also makes direct investments as a principal investor in select private equity and venture capital transactions. As such, WorldVest will pursue two types of transactions: corporate acquisitions and venture banking. Within each transaction type, WorldVest establishes long-term partnerships, while supporting management teams to implement sound growth strategies. While continuing to develop its existing portfolio of disruptive technology assets, WorldVest looks to pursue additional opportunities to make acquisitions and strategic investments.
In our corporate acquisitions, we seek to acquire controlling equity positions in high growth middle-market companies around the globe, each serving as a platform for growth through a series of follow-on transactions. WorldVest looks to become a leading global investor, developing a portfolio of strategic investments concentrated initially in North America and BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia, India, and China).
Through each acquisition, WorldVest seeks to create significant shareholder value by investing in highly opportunistic companies which will create paradigm shifts in their respective markets and society as a whole. WorldVest employs a global opportunistic investment strategy that has been successfully executed over many years and numerous transactions by its management team. This strategy is designed to achieve returns relative to risk and maximize value through intensive post investment management assistance.
In addition to its corporate acquisitions, WorldVest offers venture banking to select high-growth entrepreneurial-led companies. We have recognized a tremendous opportunity to form strategic partnerships, assisting these select companies seeking growth, early-stage, or other types of non-traditional financing. In doing so, WorldVest offers access to investment capital syndication along with a unique suite of venture services including management consulting, investor & public relations, public offerings, and finally corporate finance advisory through its investment banking affiliates.
The recent lack of liquidity in the global financial markets provides tremendous power to those with the ability to deploy strategic resources and capital. Our senior management team has substantial experience and proven track record acting as a solution provider in transactions of this type.
